Apostolic Sisters (F.A.S.) Diocesan
Locations: (serving St. Joseph School, York, and The Franciscan Apostolic Sisters' Motherhouse is located in the Philippines. Reverend Gerardo Filippetto founded the Community in 1953. In August 1992, the Franciscan Apostolic Sisters established their first house in the Lincoln Diocese in St. Joseph Parish, York. They have served as teachers and pastoral care ministers in York. In 1998, St. Gregory the Great Seminary in Seward requested the Sisters' services. As consecrated women, the Sisters continue to live as their Father Founded taught them: to be humble servants reflecting Mary's presence and to be all in all in the service of everyone in the community.
