"Why I'm Glad I go to a Catholic School"

I’m glad to go to a Catholic school because we go to church every day and it helps me be a better person and we get to learn about Christ every day and that helps me grow in my faith. And I’m also glad to go to a Catholic school because all the teachers are nice.

I’m glad I go to a Catholic school because I feel like I can truly be myself, and express my love and zeal for God openly, without having to worry about impressing anyone, or anyone putting me down for what I dress in or believe.

It’s fun. We go to church. We pray. We talk about Mary.

I get to go to Mass every day. It is a great way to start the day. I learn religion every day, I could not do that if I did not go to a Catholic school.

I’m glad I go to a Catholic school because we have the best teachers and I get to learn about God.

I am glad I go to a Catholic school because I am able to receive Communion and go to Mass every day. I am amazed by how my Lord gives me that gift and the opportunity to be able to go to this amazing school. I am grateful that the Sisters are able to teach me every day. I love the gift of learning about my Lord. My teachers are a great blessing. They teach me in the best way. I am so lucky to be able to go to a Catholic school.

I’m glad I go to a Catholic school because all of the nice and caring people here and because I love to learn about God and holy people.

We get chances that other people don’t get like going to Mass every morning. If we have a test or something we can go right downstairs to the chapel and pray for help. We also give food and toys to the poor.

Even though I am not of the Catholic faith, I have grown so much in my own faith. Going to a Catholic school makes me take a second look at my faith and really learn more about it.

I am glad I go to a Catholic school because I want to learn more about God. And worship God and someday I will also be a saint.

I am so blessed to go to a Catholic school. At St. Peters we get to go to Mass and see Jesus wait for us to receive him. When you get into the church you can smell the candles. I love saying or singing the St. Michael prayer every day after mass. I love the feeling that God sent his own son to free us. It truly makes me feel special.

I’m glad I go to a Catholic school. I’m glad because we learn about God. It is good for your soul and you will go to Mass every day. We hope we all go to Heaven.

I want to go to Mass everyday so I can get to confession and learn about Jesus Christ our Lord. So I can teach other people about Him. And one more thing to graduate to be a priest or a father someday. I will be one.

I’m glad I go to a Catholic school because the teachers and students are very nice, and I get to go to Mass every day and I love it!

I am grateful I go to a Catholic school because we are able to go to daily Mass and learn about Jesus. I am able to receive Jesus in Holy Communion. We also have very fun classes like PE, music, art and computers. We have dedicated teachers and administrators which is a blessing.

I am glad I go to Catholic school because I get to go to church to spend time with God. Also they have Religion class to learn more about God. Also that I get to go to confession every month.

I am glad that I go to a Catholic school because we get to experience Jesus and his life by learning about it in church. If people ask me, "Do you go to a Catholic school?" I answer, "Yes, and I’m proud of it." To me that is a compliment. Our parish is amazing and it is just like a family. We all love each other as Jesus loves us.

I’m glad I go to a Catholic school because it is a wonderful opportunity to have the teaching of God mixed in our everyday school activities. Another reason is our school is very fortunate to have mass every single day. We get a very good education in both religion and our other subjects.

Why I go to a Catholic school is because I get to learn more about God and Jesus Christ. I really like to learn about God and how He created the world. Jesus is our Savior and I think more people should go to a Catholic school. I love going to Catholic school.

I’m glad I go to a Catholic School because we get to receive the Body and Blood of Christ everyday at Mass and also get to go to confession. I also like that we get Holy Days off, too. I like that we get All Saints Day off to thank the Saints for their faith and after Mass we get donuts. On the last day of school we also get a field day.

I like it here because we get to learn about Jesus a lot and about the holy family. I also like it here because we get to learn about all the popes and all the bishops.

When we go to school we get to talk about Jesus. Some schools aren’t supposed to even mention His name. Our school only has sixteen kids all together so we can get more one on one contact. We also get to go to daily Mass and receive Communion. Every year we get to act out a Christmas program our teacher makes up. That is why I am glad I go to a Catholic School.

I like it because I learn about God. I like going to church. I like having Religion. I like Miss Peters.

I’m glad I go to a Catholic school because ever since I have been here, I have learned more about my faith, and have grown closer to God every day. By going to a Catholic School, it helps me open my eyes and appreciate the work that God has done for us.

I am glad I go to a Catholic school because I learn more about God. I get the chance every day to receive the Eucharist and go to Mass. I get the chance to go to Adoration and Benediction. The priest, Father Major, comes in every Friday and asks us what we are talking about in Religion. Religion class is fun. The sister, Sister Mary Agnes is nice and always has a smile. Our principal is Sister Mary Catherine. She takes good care of our school. My cousins also go to my Catholic school and one of my cousins is in my class.

Going to a Catholic school made me who I am today. I have had the opportunity to pray at abortion clinics and attend the National Walk for Life in Washington, D.C. I have really grown my faith over the years and going to a Catholic school has really helped make that possible.

I’ m glad I go to a Catholic school because I get to learn about Jesus and get to keep my faith strong. And I also get to go to Church every day.

I am glad to go to a Catholic school because I get to grow closer to God and my faith gets stronger. If I didn’t go to a Catholic school I wouldn’t get the great education I get now. It’s great how we go to Mass daily and how we participate as Soldiers of St. Sebastian. I know going to the school will help me later in my life.

I’m glad I go to a Catholic School because we get to learn about God and Jesus and go to Mass and Communion. God is so cool and awesome. I can do lots of things at school. Jesus is fun to learn about and I like reading the Bible. Religion is my favorite subject in school. School is very fun and there is lots of stuff to learn.

Faith is something that is extremely important to me. Going to a Catholic school ensures a better education and the ability to strengthen my faith. Public school students can’t receive the sacraments as often as we can, and we have priests and religious we can talk to about anything without being judged.

I am glad I go to a Catholic school because I get to go to Mass every day. I like Mass because I like looking at the cross with Jesus on it. I like the tabernacle in the middle. I love the angels by the tabernacle. I like the statue of Mary and Joseph, too. I can’t wait to receive Holy Communion.

I am grateful that I attend a Catholic school because I have the opportunity to go to Mass every day. When I go to Mass, I feel closer to God. My favorite way to participate in the Mss is singing in the choir: "Singing is praying twice," St. Augustine. I love going to a Catholic school.

I get to go to daily Mass. I don’t have to go to CCD. I get to help the needy with my donations. I get to talk to the priests. The teachers help us one on one. That’s why I’m glad I go to a Catholic School.

So I can learn the truth and not lies. Everyone is nice because they believe in God and they love God. It is pretty neat to learn the faith and to learn the truth.

On any given day of the school year, I can walk down the hallway while maintaining a conversation with the Blessed Sacrament – who’s right there in the Tabernacle of our chapel!

I’m glad to go to a Catholic school because you can talk to priests. They teach us Religion sometimes. We get closer to Jesus in the Eucharist. We go to daily Mass. Everybody loves each other. We help the community with the food drive. That is why I like a Catholic school.

I like having the Christ the King Sisters as teachers because they teach us what is right and wrong, along with our regular teachers.

Catholic schools give the opportunity of a lifetime. It is a true gift to be able to walk through the doors and start your day in prayer. In a Catholic school, you can experience the joy of going to Mass and witnessing the eternal sacrifice. That is what’s so special about a Catholic school. We are truly blessed to have such schools."

I am glad to go to a Catholic school because we can discuss religious matters in any class. Also there is more expected of us and they challenge us to always do better. Attending a Catholic school has made me stronger in my faith, specially because of all the groups offered here that deal with Religion such as our pro-life group T.O.R.C.H.

I get to learn how to pray and I also get to learn about our Savior and what He did for us. At a Catholic school, I learn how to get closer to God and how to get to heaven.

I’m glad I go to a Catholic school because of all of the kind people that I meet. The teachers are great and I have the great privilege of learning our Catholic faith that not everyone is able to receive. Without going to a Catholic school, I would not know nearly as much about Jesus Christ, and would not be as close to Him as I am today. My Catholic school is helping me get to heaven, and I can’t thank the staff enough for that.

I am glad to go to a Catholic school because before I went to one I was only baptized. I moved to Lincoln in seventh grade now I am on my way to being confirmed. It has brought me closer to God.

I am glad to go to a Catholic school mainly because I can learn about my Catholic faith daily. Going to a Catholic school has helped me to become a better person. At a Catholic school you get the chance to learn to be the person God wants you to be, I also pray every day at school for both myself and others.

I’m glad I go to a Catholic school because here they teach us about Religion and other subjects! They also tell us about the most important thing in life is to get to be in heaven! Not to be rich or be famous or win an Emmy. The lunch here is delicious and that’s why I want to go to a Catholic school.

What is different about going to a Catholic School and why it is so special? St. Joseph Catholic is very special because we are able to go to Mass every day and receive my Lord in Holy Communion. The thing is most people don’t realize what a gift it really is. I can learn about my religion and talk about it as much as I want. It is special because not every child like me is blessed to have a Catholic school. I for one am one of the blessed. I want to make sure I don’t take it for granted.

I am glad to go to a Catholic School. I get to learn about God and his disciples. I learn about the saints. My favorite saint is St. Louis de Montfort.

I get to learn about Jesus in my Catholic school. I get to receive Jesus in Holy Communion. We attend Mass every day. We get to pray in school and have religious statues, pictures, and books in our school. It is also great because it’s so small we get more one on one with the teacher and nice teachers!

JMJ. That’s why I like going to a Catholic school. Jesus, Mary and Joseph. Jesus is my friend. Whenever I have a huge test I have my own prayer I pray to him. Mary is my mother she helps me to think of those who have done wrong and pray for them since they are her children too. Joseph is the strong foster father. When I’m hurt I pray to him. This year we wrote speeches for the first graders’ Saints Parade. It felt special because I wrote about St. Rachel, one of my favorite saints. I pray for those who don’t know Him. Remember… JMJ.
