March for Life
January 22 is a day which hundreds of
thousands of ardent pro-lifers, Catholic and
non-Catholic, attend the national March for Life
in Washington, D.C.; the unfortunate anniversary
of the legalization by the Supreme Court
decision Roe v. Wade. It is a peaceful and
prayerful way to give a voice to the voiceless
unborn children.
Each year the Diocese of Lincoln participates
in standing up for the right to life. The trip
is open to Juniors and Seniors in High school.
The trip includes round-trip transportation,
housing, some meals, and touring of Washington
D.C. monuments and other sites. We pray that
each year will be the last year we need to
march, that the personhood and right to life of
every unborn child will be recognized.
