Marriage P.R.E.P.
Catholic Marriage PREP (Prevention and
Relationship Enhancement Program) aims at the
prevention of risky language and behaviors that
damage or prevent fruitful communication. The
program seeks to enhance a couple's relationship
by teaching effective communication skills and
by clarifying the essential components of a
healthy Christian marriage.
Marriage PREP is formatted for second
marriage couples, couples advanced in age, and
civilly married couples with children who are
preparing for marriage in the Church. An Engaged
Encounter weekend may be attended instead by
young couples early in their relationship.
Marriage Encounter may be selected as a
substitute for couples that have been in a
long-term civil marriage.
