Health Care and Correctional Facilities
The Catholic Church has a long history of
sponsoring hospitals and other facilities to
care for the sick, suffering and aged. And
following Christ’s command to visit the sick and
imprisoned, priests are assigned as chaplains to
minister to those in the hospitals, care homes,
and correctional facilities in our diocese.
